DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO ORIENTATION.

Companion Dog (CD) is a Beginner-level course for All Breeds 6 months and older. No training background is required: this class is designed to take a completely green dog all the way from NO-bedience to off-leash reliability in about 2 months. NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!

This class meets weekly for 10 lessons including the Graduation Exercise and is $249.00, payable in full at the Week 2 meeting. The first meeting is held as a NO DOGS ALLOWED orientation – DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG TO ORIENTATION. You will bring your dog to class every week thereafter.

6 Week Bridge to Off Leash Class (BN-CD)

Bridge to Off Leash (BN-CD) is a Novice-level course for All Breeds 6 months and older. It covers the gap between on-leash fundamentals and off-leash reliability. You will learn how to effectively handle your dog off-leash for ultimate control and reliability in the face of distractions and temptations with NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!

This class meets weekly for 6 lessons including the Graduation Exercise. Some foundation in on-leash obedience (BN or equivalent) is required prior to joining the class, whether through AMPS, another school, or DIY at home. 7 Week “Trail Ready” Off Leash Class (GN)

Graduate Novice (GN) is an intermediate-level course for all breeds. The Novice Heel Free will receive extensive polishing and the Drop on Recall exercise adds an important buffer of safety for off-lead handlers. Emphasis is placed on developing a positive Hold and Carry as a preparation for Retrieving, and the Jump exercises add a fun and engaging dimension of training for all dogs, equipping you with the skills needed to navigate Utah’s wilds with your adventure buddy off-leash at your side.

This class meets weekly for 7 lessons including the Graduation Exercise and is $175.00, payable in full at Lesson 1.
